This project involved designing a custom click pen in SolidWorks, optimized for 3D printing. The pen was designed to utilize the spring and ink cartridge from a Pilot G2 pen, combining practicality with customizable design.

Approach & Solution

The design process involved creating multiple prototypes to achieve a reliable click mechanism with precise tolerances. Each iteration improved the functionality and durability of the pen, resulting in a smooth and consistent clicking action.

Outcome & Results

The final model was uploaded to MakerWorld, where it gained significant popularity, earning over a thousand likes and downloads. It also reached the website’s trending page, showcasing the design's success within the community.
